When you need drums, IBCs, tonnes or recurring container loads, the questions change. Price per kilogram matters, but so do lot-to-lot consistency, packaging, freight planning and a document set that your receiving inspection will accept every time. Zemixal's bulk sourcing service is built around those needs.
What we source in bulk
- Process and extraction solvents in drums, IBCs and ISO tanks.
- Inorganic salts, acids and alkalis in bags, drums and container loads.
- Pharmaceutical intermediates and key starting materials in multi-kilogram to tonne lots.
- APIs and excipients with pharmacopoeial (USP/EP/BP/IP) grade documentation where the grade exists.
- Specialty chemicals for coatings, polymers, water treatment, textiles and other industries.
The process
- Your requirement. Product, CAS number, specification, quantity per shipment, annual volume if known, packaging and destination.
- Source matching. We identify producers that can meet the specification and compare their current lot data.
- Sample. Where you need to qualify material, we send a representative or pre-shipment sample with its COA.
- Quotation. Price, Incoterm, packing, lead time and validity, with dangerous goods freight included where relevant.
- Dispatch. Each lot ships with its COA and a GHS SDS, plus invoices, packing list and transport documents.
Keeping repeat orders consistent
For recurring supply we fix the specification, producer and packaging once they are approved, and tell you in advance if any of them must change. Lot COAs are checked against the agreed limits each time. If you schedule call-offs, we can plan production and bookings ahead, which steadies lead times.
Packaging and freight
Packaging is chosen for the product and route: UN-approved drums and IBCs for dangerous goods, lined bags for powders, and food-contact packaging where required. Full and part container loads ship from Nhava Sheva (JNPT) or Mundra. We plan segregation so that several products can share a container where rules allow. See export and logistics for details.
Pricing and contracts
Bulk prices depend on volume, packaging, Incoterm and how far ahead you can commit. Spot orders are quoted per shipment. For annual volumes, we can discuss quarterly price reviews linked to raw material movements, so both sides know how and when prices may change. Every agreed term is written into the quotation or a supply agreement.
Regulated products
Some bulk chemicals are drug precursors, explosives precursors or controlled under trade rules. We identify them at the quotation stage and ask for the end-use declarations or permits needed. Your import licences and registrations remain your responsibility, and early sharing avoids delays.
