Zemixal ships from Gujarat to customers worldwide. This page explains the routes we use, the Incoterms we quote, how hazardous goods are handled and which documents travel with your order. Destination-specific notes are on our ship to pages.
Routes
- Sea freight from Nhava Sheva (JNPT) and Mundra, as full container loads or consolidated part loads. Best for drums, IBCs and pallets.
- Air cargo from Mumbai (BOM) and Ahmedabad (AMD), for urgent or high-value consignments.
- Express courier for samples, reference standards and small packs, door to door.
Sea transit to the Gulf is usually short, while Europe, the Americas and East Asia take several weeks port to port. Air and courier shipments typically arrive within days to around two weeks. Each quotation gives the expected dispatch date, and we share tracking once the goods leave.
Incoterms
We quote under Incoterms 2020, including EXW, FCA, FOB, CFR, CIF, CPT, CIP, DAP and DDP. The term defines who pays each cost and where risk transfers. For courier parcels DAP is common. For sea freight, FOB, CFR and CIF are typical. DDP is possible in some countries where a reliable clearance partner is available. The Incoterms entry explains each one.
Dangerous goods
Many chemicals are regulated for transport. Each is classified with its UN number, class and packing group, packed in UN-specification packaging and declared under the IMDG Code for sea or IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations for air. Some substances may not travel by courier or on passenger aircraft, and some need temperature control. These limits affect cost and timing, so we confirm the route before you order.
Documents
- Commercial invoice and packing list.
- Certificate of analysis for each lot and a GHS SDS for each product.
- Bill of lading or air waybill.
- Dangerous goods declaration where applicable.
- Certificate of origin on request.
Invoices show the HS code for each item. Our HS code guide helps you anticipate classification, although duty rates are decided by your customs authority.
Import requirements
Import permits, registrations and duties at destination are the buyer's responsibility unless the quotation says otherwise. Common examples are drug licences for APIs, precursor permits for certain solvents and veterinary permits for animal-derived products. We flag restrictions we know of when we quote.
Temperature-sensitive goods
Products that need cold storage are packed in insulated shippers with gel packs or dry ice sized for the route, and data loggers can be added on request. Dry ice is itself declared as a dangerous good.
