The APIs division lists drug substances made by Indian manufacturers for formulation, generic development, analytical method work and research. Therapy areas run from antibiotics and antimalarials to antihypertensives, antidiabetics, antipsychotics, proton pump inhibitors and oncology molecules, plus vitamins, sweeteners and functional excipients used alongside them.

Most buyers start from a monograph. Tell us whether you need material tested to the USP, EP, BP or IP, and we will confirm which grades are available with pharmacopoeial documentation. Other points to settle early are particle size or polymorph, residual solvent limits, and whether regulatory files such as a DMF or CEP from the manufacturer are needed for your filing. Development quantities in grams are possible for many molecules, with commercial lots quoted on request.

Each API ships with the manufacturer's COA, an SDS and packing that protects against moisture and light. Import rules for drug substances differ by country, so please share your licence or registration details when you request a quote. We then prepare the commercial documents to match.

APIs: questions buyers ask

What information should I include when requesting an API quotation?
State the molecule, required pharmacopoeia and edition, quantity, intended use and destination country. Mention any special needs such as micronised particle size, a specific polymorph or limits on residual solvents. If your regulator needs manufacturer documents, list them too, so we can confirm availability before pricing.
Can you supply small API samples for formulation trials?
Many APIs can be supplied in development quantities for pre-formulation and stability work. The available sample size depends on the manufacturer and on how the molecule is regulated. Share your project stage and the amount you need, and we will advise what can ship as a sample and what requires a full commercial order.
Do you supply controlled or scheduled drug substances?
Some molecules are controlled under narcotic or psychotropic rules in India or in the destination country. These need import and export permits arranged before shipment, which adds time. We tell you at the quotation stage if a molecule falls into this group and which licences both sides must hold.
