Chemicals for electronics, PCB and semiconductors

High-purity acids, etchants, cleaning solvents, photoresist solvents and specialty metals for electronics assembly, display and semiconductor work.

In electronics manufacturing a few parts per billion of sodium, iron or copper can change how a device performs. Wafer cleaning uses sulfuric acid with hydrogen peroxide and ammonia mixtures, oxide is etched with hydrofluoric acid, photoresist is developed in tetramethylammonium hydroxide and stripped with solvents such as NMP and PGMEA. Printed circuit board lines rely on copper sulfate plating baths and persulfate micro-etches.

Grades for each step

Zemixal offers these chemicals in electronic grade for applications where trace metals and particles are controlled, and in AR or technical grade where they are not. Acids, peroxides and plating salts are listed under Inorganics and Metals, along with gallium, indium tin oxide and sputtering materials. Isopropyl alcohol and resist solvents sit in Solvents (HPLC and GC).

What to send with your enquiry

For high-purity products the COA lists assay and the individual trace metals tested. Because element lists and limits vary by producer and tier, please share your specification or SEMI tier reference so we can confirm a matching source.

Hydrofluoric acid and concentrated peroxide are tightly regulated in transport. They travel by sea in compatible containers under full IMDG declaration, and some destinations need import licences for HF.

Questions

Buying for electronics, PCB and semiconductors

What container types do high-purity acids ship in?
Electronic grade acids are filled into pre-cleaned HDPE or PFA bottles and drums so the container does not leach metals into the product. Bottle size and closure type affect cleanliness, so state your preferred pack when you request a quote.
Can I get a lot-specific trace metal report?
Yes. For electronic grade material the COA reports measured values for each specified element, usually by ICP-MS, rather than a generic statement of compliance. Ask for the full element list if your process is sensitive to a metal that is not routinely reported.
Do you supply sputtering targets or only chemicals?
Our focus is chemicals and high-purity metals in powder, granule or ingot form. Indium tin oxide and some metals can be supplied as powders or pieces for target fabrication. Finished bonded targets are quoted on request through specialist producers.
