Chemicals shipped to Germany
German buyers expect thorough documentation, and their demand is broad. Ludwigshafen, ChemCologne around Leverkusen, Frankfurt-Höchst, the Bavarian Chemical Triangle, Leuna and Marl all run basic and specialty chemistry, while generic and innovative pharma, automotive coatings, biotech and diagnostics firms buy APIs, intermediates and reference standards. Contract and university research labs order lab reagents and HPLC and GC solvents in steady volumes. Zemixal ships containers from Nhava Sheva or Mundra to Hamburg, Bremerhaven or Wilhelmshaven, a voyage of roughly 24 to 30 days, and flies urgent consignments to Frankfurt or Leipzig/Halle in 3 to 5 days. Every lot comes with a COA and a 16-section GHS SDS. For large qualification lists, the Bulk CAS lookup checks up to 200 CAS numbers in one pass.

- 1–2 daysQuote and document set agreed
Price, pack sizes, Incoterm and the paperwork list are confirmed in writing.

Importing chemicals into Germany
German imports follow EU REACH and CLP. A substance arriving at 1 tonne or more per year must be registered by the EU importer or by an Only Representative acting for the Indian manufacturer, and labels and SDS must be in German. Medicinal active substances require GMP compliance and an EU written confirmation, with the competent Länder authorities and BfArM overseeing authorised importers. Dangerous goods must be packed and declared under IMDG or IATA DGR, and customs needs the importer's EORI number.
