Importing chemicals into Estonia
Estonia applies EU REACH and CLP. For substances imported at 1 tonne or more per year, the EU importer or an Only Representative holds the registration, and SDS and labels must be in Estonian. API imports need an EU written confirmation or equivalent GMP standing, and the importer must be authorised by the State Agency of Medicines. Ocean cargo usually arrives at Muuga on a Baltic feeder, which should be reflected on the bill of lading. Customs needs the importer's EORI number.
