Importing chemicals into Turkey
Turkey's KKDIK regulation mirrors EU REACH. Substances placed on the Turkish market at 1 tonne or more per year must be registered by the Turkish manufacturer, the importer or an Only Representative, with phased deadlines. SDS must be prepared in Turkish by a certified SDS preparer, which the importer usually arranges. APIs and medicines fall under TİTCK, which generally expects GMP evidence for the manufacturing site. Dangerous goods move under IMDG or IATA rules.
