Importing chemicals into Greece
Greece applies EU REACH and CLP. Substances imported at 1 tonne or more per year require registration by the EU importer or by an Only Representative for the Indian manufacturer, and SDS and labels must be in Greek. Active substances for medicinal products need GMP compliance and an EU written confirmation, and EOF supervises authorised importers. Dangerous goods are packed and declared under IMDG or IATA DGR, and customs clearance requires the importer's EORI number.
