Flash Point
The lowest temperature at which a liquid gives off enough vapour to form an ignitable mixture with air near its surface, measured in a closed or open cup apparatus. It is the main criterion for classifying flammable liquids under GHS and transport rules. Liquids with a flash point at or below 60 °C are regulated as flammable for transport.
