Importing chemicals into Ukraine

Ukraine is aligning its chemical rules with EU REACH and CLP through national technical regulations, so importers increasingly expect EU-style GHS labelling and SDS content in Ukrainian. Which gateway is most reliable for shipments to western Ukraine?

For small and urgent orders, air cargo to Rzeszów or Warsaw followed by road transport is usually the most predictable route, taking about 5 to 8 days. Larger volumes often go by sea to Constanța, then overland. We discuss the current options with you before quoting.

How is insurance handled for Ukrainian deliveries?

Insurance cover for Ukraine, including war-risk terms, must be agreed before shipment. Under CIF or CIP we arrange cover to the named place, subject to availability. Many buyers choose FCA or CPT to a Polish or Romanian point and insure the final leg themselves.

Can Ukrainian pharma producers receive APIs with GMP-related documents?
