Stable isotope labelled standards are the backbone of quantitative mass spectrometry. Because they share the chemistry of the analyte but differ in mass, they correct for losses during extraction and for ion suppression in the source. This sub-category lists deuterated, carbon-13 and nitrogen-15 labelled compounds, including Abemaciclib D5, Amodiaquine-d10, Aripiprazole-d8 (butyl-d8) and the labelled solvent Isopropanol-D8.
Two figures matter most. Isotopic purity tells you how much unlabelled compound is present, which can add to the analyte signal. Label position matters too, because deuterium on exchangeable positions can be lost in solution. A mass shift of at least three units helps avoid overlap with the natural isotope pattern of the analyte.
Standards come in milligram vials with a COA reporting chemical purity, isotopic enrichment and identity by NMR and MS. Labelled versions of listed impurities and nitrosamines can be made on request. Send your list through our quotation form.
Stable Isotope Labelled Standards (Deuterated, 13C, 15N): questions buyers ask
Is 13C labelling better than deuterium labelling?
How much unlabelled compound can a labelled standard contain?
Can you label an API that is not yet in the catalogue?
