Technical Grade
A commercial grade for industrial use, specified for main component content and the properties that matter to a process rather than for trace impurities. Many bulk chemicals are traded in this grade, often at high purity, but without the detailed impurity limits of reagent grades. It is unsuitable for food, medicines or analytical work.
