LR Grade
Laboratory Reagent grade, a practical purity grade for general laboratory work, synthesis and teaching. The assay is typically 97 to 99 percent and fewer impurities are specified than in analytical grades. It costs less than AR and is appropriate wherever trace impurities do not affect the result, such as reactions followed by purification.
