Chemicals for diagnostics, life science and biotech
Buffers, salts, detergents, blocking proteins, substrates, chaotropes and stabilisers for IVD kits, molecular biology and bioprocessing.
Diagnostic kits and biotech processes depend on reagents that are quietly reliable. A change in Tris purity can shift buffer pH, a trace of nuclease can destroy an RNA sample, and a variable lot of BSA can raise background in an ELISA. Kit makers therefore qualify each raw material and expect the same performance from every lot.
Products by function
- Buffers and salts. Tris, HEPES, glycine, citrate and EDTA.
- Blocking and detergents. Bovine serum albumin, polysorbate 20 and SDS.
- Nucleic acid extraction. Guanidine thiocyanate and guanidine hydrochloride.
- Detection and stability. TMB substrate, trehalose and sodium azide.
- Separation. Agarose for gels.
These are listed in Biochemicals, with general salts in Lab Reagents. For PCR and sequencing, choose molecular biology grade, tested for DNase, RNase and protease activity.
Documentation and import
Each lot ships with a COA and GHS SDS. For animal-derived materials such as BSA, we request origin and TSE/BSE statements from the producer, and we check whether your country needs a veterinary import permit. Cold-chain items travel with gel packs or dry ice sized for the route.
