Retest Date
The date after which a material should be re-examined to confirm it still meets its specification before use. It is set from stability data and is common for APIs, reagents and reference standards. Unlike an expiry date, a retest date allows continued use if the retest result is satisfactory, provided storage conditions have been maintained.
